Women's Gymnastics Team

Scottsdale Gymnastics & Trampoline (SGT) Women’s Competitive Team is required to compete in both Artistic Gymnastics as well as TNT. We have researched the benefits of cross training of both events and the effects that it has had on the overall performance of the gymnast and have found the results outstanding.

Many gyms throughout the USA are converting to this type of training as well as the USA Women’s and Men’s Teams. We are the first team in Arizona to embrace this type of training and are very excited to offer it to our students. Students that exit this program will be well-rounded trained athletes in which many doors and opportunities will open in all arenas of sports.

Mini Stars

Introductory level to the developmental program. Introduces the athlete to the basics and terminology on the 4 events. Extra emphasis on form and technique to build a strong foundation.

Super Stars

Must meet basic skill and terminology requirements. This group builds from the basic skills mastered to prepare the athletes for training team. This group also has Ballet and Trampoline in addition to Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. These athletes will compete in recreational meets against other clubs in the Valley as well as Tumbling and Trampoline competitions.

Rising Stars

Must meet basic skill and terminology requirements. This group continues to work on the basic skills necessary to perform the competitive routines.

Lil Rockets

This group is training to begin artistic Level 4 competitions. This group has Ballet, Power Tumbling and Trampoline in addition to the 4 artistic events.

Blue and Silver Rockets

These groups are made up of training and competing Level 5s. Power Tumbling, Trampoline and a hour of Ballet are all included in the weekly workouts. These athletes compete in both Artistic and Tumbling and Trampoline Competitions. Some of these athletes participate in TOPs and Jump Start Training

This group is made up of training Level 7s and 8s. Power Tumbling, Trampoline and a hour of Ballet are all included in the weekly workouts. These athletes compete in both Artistic and Tumbling and Trampoline Competitions. Some of these athletes participate in TOPs and Jump Start Training.
