Our Junior Gymnastics program introduces young athletes to foundational skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor through structured instruction and creative movement. Students begin by developing coordination, focus, and body awareness through repetition, games, and purposeful play.
As gymnasts build strength and confidence, they progress to more advanced skills and combinations, learning to control their movements with precision. For those demonstrating strong fundamentals and readiness, our invite-only advanced class offers greater challenges that prepare athletes for the next level of training.
What skills you will learn?
- Master foundational skills like mat assisted pullover, forward roll, cartwheel, handstand, and bridge
- Build strength and control with skills like front support, straight jump on vault, and lever on beam
- Gain confidence on beam with walks on low and medium beams and introductory lever holds
- Progress to advanced movements like backwards roll, vertical handstand, and pullovers
Frequently asked questions
You can access your child’s skill chart through the parent portal. Students are evaluated every class. Please allow 24 hours after your student’s class for the skills to update.
No, our engaging lesson plans and passionate coaches will ensure that the exercises and drills that your student is doing meets their needs and keeps them excited to progress.
The classes are 55 minutes long. They will do a warm up game followed by stretches. They will then rotate through their respective stations to work on their skills.
It’s best to bring your child in to be evaluated before placing them into a class. Please call the gym to schedule an evaluation.
A leotard or gym shorts and a t-shirt are most appropriate.
When they have achieved 5 stars on all of the required skills for their current level.
